Job Description WeBecome is a Singapore headquartered consulting and professional services company. We are looking for “Area Sales manager” for a fulltime opening with our client’s office in UAE Client is an FMCG company in the UAE specialising in foodstuff distribution operations by focusing on its brands, strategic partners, customers and consumers, to ensure their total satisfaction through creating professional management, marketing, and other support teams, developing strategic alliances, and deploying essential expertise, technology and financial resources Area Sales Manager Reports to: National Sales Manager. Supervises: - Sales Supervisor (Distribution) - Sales Supervisor (FSD) Sales Supervisor (Institutions) Main Function: - To supervise the daily sales operations within a specific region area. To maintain good relations with current and potential clients and develop the Best means to meet their demands. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Develops an efficient region sales program to ensure the achievement of the targeted sales forecast. 2. Suggests efficient means for sales performance optimization. 3. Suggests any changes to the region area sales strategy, policies and procedures. 4. Ensures the proper implementation of the established sales policies and procedures. 5. Coordinates and supervises the daily sales operations within the specified region area. 6. Manages and controls the sales supervisors’ activities in distribution, FSD and institutions ensures their efficiency. 7. Controls the sales supervisors’ performance through the comparison of targeted vs. actual productivity per brand and customer. 8. Coordinates with the sales supervisors on the most efficient means to optimize the sales performance through reviewing and discussing the problems encountered during the daily sales operations. 9. Coordinates with his superior on advertising or promotional campaigns to improve the sales operations. 10. Monitors and follows-up on the competitors’ prices and sales strategy. 11. Processes all customer sales orders and monitors their delivery. 12. Resolves any problems occurring whilst delivery. 13. Monitors and follows-up all A/R related matters, in coordination with the sales supervisors and/or collectors. 14. Handles the cases of delayed customer payments. 15. Monitors the efficient and orderly shelf exposure and product pricing. 16. Ensures the optimal sales and distribution of each brand by the sales representatives. 17. Establishes and maintains good relations with potential and current customers.. Functional Relations: - With the Finance Department to coordinate the timely processing of invoices and collections from customers. Academic Qualifications: BA in Business Administration (Preferably Marketing) or equivalent professional qualification Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in related position.
