ACCOUNTANT

ACCOUNTANT - AED 8,000 - DUBAI. An exciting opportunity has arisen with a new and expanding international airline. The company has a large network of global flight destinations and they are seeking an Accountant to join their growing finance team. The role will involve a variety of accounts and administration duties. You will be required to maintain accounts payables and receivables and prepare and submit monthly profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow statements. You will take responsibility for the general ledger and reconciliation of accounts. Variance analysis will be performed and monthly management accounts will be prepared and submitted for review. A further responsibility will be to produce quarterly accounts and year-end audit files, along with supporting schedules for submission. Our client has requested a university graduate with a degree in finance or accounting. You will have a minimum of 6 years experience in an accounting position and 4 years experience with either an airline; within the aviation industry or with a general sales agent (G.S.A.) travel agency. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with Oracle or other ERP products is desirable. You must be a team player and possess good communication skills.
