HEAD OF INVESTMENTS (BAHRAIN) - A leading regional bank based in Bahrain is seeking to recruit a Head of the Investments Department. The role reports to the AGM Treasury and Investments. Responsibilities: Formulate overall investment business strategy plans and prepare budget forecasts for income and expenses for the department. Review and finalize optimum strategic and tactical asset allocation commensurate with changes in market conditions. Develop and communicate suitable investment policies, departmental procedures and standards to facilitate working of the units under control. Identify and analyze new market opportunities, both locally and regionally, to initiate and develop new investment products that will enhance profitability and address customer requirements. Manage the overall investment risk position and exposure by creating solutions and executing necessary transactions. Formulate a legal structure for all new investment products to ensure compliance with regulating authority guidelines and articles of incorporation Graduates in Finance / Management, with 8-10 years of experience at a senior level within treasury and investment banking, may apply.
