The Person: The ideal candidate will possess extensive sales understanding, with at least 5 years of management experience representing a progressively established organization. He will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively and succinctly to diverse audiences in a variety of formats including oral, written and presentation. Self-directed and a self-starter, he will be able to work independently and possess the ability to generate ideas and approach the market situation with creative ways. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, he must have effective problem- solving skills, negotiation ability, long-term vision, and project planning experience. In addition, he will have the flexibility to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and customer needs and sound business judgment to drive the organization to the right results. Possesses an innate curiosity to see beyond the obvious and probe for alternatives. Role Specification: Develop and implement a regional sales and distribution plan which meets the objectives of the division in line with the brand strategy of the organization and the needs of the trade. Manage key regional trade customers through the development and implementation of account strategies and plans through regular communication with the account team in order to maximize volume and share performance. Implement national presence marketing and promotion programs with optimum use of resources and materials in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility and sales performance for the key strategic brands throughout the region by gaining the active support of the trade. Have the confidence of the Area/Branch Managers and Supervisors concerning the objectives to be implemented. Analyze the progress achieved and define future action plans so that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented. Meet sales objectives through various sales channels and maintain customer base all the while creating a win-win situation for the company as well as the customer/client. Manage the distribution of company brands within the region. Ensure availability of brands is maximized Et in line with brand strategies, catering to the needs of the market by trade channel and outlet type. Manage an efficient and effective regional sales team through on Et off-the-job trainings, motivation and staff development in order that trade marketing representation is superior than the competition in respect of both core and added value services.
