Head of Private Banking - Salary at Market Rate. Dubai. Our client is building and developing its global private banking business, with a regional team to be established in Dubai. We have been asked to help identify the right person to lead this new team and are very interested in meeting appropriate candidates. The position reports to the Head of Private Banking based in India and will require identifying and leading a team of people based in Dubai. The role will involve managing a team of people who will work throughout the region. You will be responsible for creating and developing a business plan for this exciting new business and will be involved in the direct management of a small group of selected top-end clients with support from junior private bankers or assistants. A large part of your role will be the development of relationships with existing and prospective clients and effective networking to help position the company as a desirable brand. You will work closely with central support functions to formulate strategy and implement various sales and marketing initiatives. You will form part of the core team. You must have experience as a senior private banker in the region, with a minimum of 12 years working experience, at least five of which should be in private banking. You will have a strong academic background, preferably with an MBA from a recognized university and must have very good knowledge and understanding of both Indian and global financial markets. You should have a strong network in the local Indian community. Excellent communication and management skills are vital. When applying for this position, please mention salary expectations.
