Domestic Chief Auditor

Domestic Chief Auditor – Banking. QR 60,000. Doha. Our client is a leading commercial bank in Qatar and offers a full range of products that include retail, corporate, investment, treasury, wealth management and Islamic banking products as well as services for individuals, corporate institutions and government entities. They are currently in need of a Domestic Chief Auditor. As the Domestic Chief Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the provision of the internal audit and related advisory services for the group’s domestic operations. This will involve the development of the annual internal
audit plan, the timely implementation/execution of the plan and the introduction and continued adherence to internal auditing best practices. You will provide a valued addition to the business by assessing and evaluating the risks in the operating environment and the work processes, identify related areas for professional development of yourself and subordinates, ensure training is given to subordinates and conduct performance appraisals for relevant staff members. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years banking audit experience with 9 years at a managerial level. You will hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree and have a variety of professional certifications such as CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA / CISA / CISSP. Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English are essential. Our client prefers to receive applications from Arab and Western nationals.
