TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - Competitive Package, Qatar. Our client was established in 2007 and is a government-owned global marketing company selling to the world’s highest value markets and supporting the country’s increasing natural gas and oil production. They are currently looking to recruit a Training and Development Leader with generalist HR experience. This is a newly created role within HR and will be both diverse and challenging. The main responsibilities will include developing and marketing the Training and Development programs for the company, promoting, developing and maintaining the scholarship program as well as the internal training for the company’s employees whilst ensuring that an effective succession plan is in place. In addition to this, you will review and assess the training programs currently in place to ensure continued best practice is maintained in line with international standards. You will also be responsible for actively maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and contractors, as well as ensuring they maintain a high level of competence in international competitions. The ideal candidate will also have a generalist HR background with sound knowledge of all HR procedures. The ideal individual will hold a degree in either Business Administration or another relevant field and a postgraduate diploma in Training and Development. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification practice is also essential with good knowledge of the oil and gas industry being a definite advantage. Please forward your CV Quote Ref: 8512
