UNIT HEAD - ABU DHABI. Our client, a government organisation based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Unit Head for the training and capacity building unit. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will develop and implement an overall training strategy in accordance with best practices in learning and development. You will be working closely with administrative, information management, policy/monitoring/evaluation and field operations support units to keep abreast of UAE’s capacity needs as well as evolving challenges and goals in the humanitarian domain. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, adult education, psychology, social science, international studies and public administration or other related areas with 5 years experience in managing and developing information, adult learning and training. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, good facilitation abilities, outstanding writing and research skills are essential to this role.
