DIRECTOR - HUMAN RESOURCES, ARAB NATIONAL. An Islamic Foundation, created by like-minded educated and forward thinking individuals in the UAE, is seeking to professionalize their organization, through the setting up of a corporate culture. Towards this endeavor, they would like to employ a senior HR professional who would be entrusted with the task of establishing a modern and professionally managed organization. Based in ABU DHABI, and reporting to the CEO, the selected person will partner with the senior management team and participate in all decision making at the board / advisory level. He will act as an internal consultant, counselor and a relations builder and ensure the adherence to the mission, vision and values set for the organization. He will create not only the HR blueprint, but will also set his own mark on the infrastructure, modernizing it and educating functional heads in modern methods of management. In addition, he will overhaul specific ‘specialist’ functions, setting a high score on learning & development, performance management, succession planning, as also introducing quality standardsand providing a primary focus on Emiratization. The appointment demands well-defined human resources capabilities garnered through approximately 15 to 20 years experience in modern, international institutions coupled with an education in Human Resources Development and specific knowledge of Emiratization or localization of manpower anywhere in the GCC.
