PLANNING ENGINEER - SHIPYARD CONSTRUCTION, Excellent Package. For a multibillion dollar oil & gas company based in Qatar. Working on the client side, you will need to be Degree educated, with a minimum of10 years experience working in the planning of projects in marine construction relatedindustries. You must have experience in planning, scheduling, forecasting, riskassessment, cost control, invoice validation, claims analysis and project closeout. Youwill develop and maintain the Project Master Plan for assigned projects and provideplanning, schedule control, progress measurement, reporting instructions and projectinvoicing requirements to tender documents. You will also be involved in schedulingcontrol expertise and participate in technical bid evaluations (related to scheduleanalysis, man-hour tabulation, progress measurement, procedures) to ensurecompliance of bid proposals to tender requirements. You will monitor and assess theperformance of contractors, prepare progress reports, attend progress meetings andundertake site visits. Computer literacy in MS Office, Primavera and MS Project is required.
