Senior Construction Manager - Azerbaijan

Our client is one of the leading property developers in Azerbaijan and is currently delivering some of the most prestigious hospitality and mixed-use projects in the region. A current job requirement for a Senior Construction Manager is required, and duties will include:
• Develop the project’s approach
• Develop four week look ahead programmes
• Assist PM in developing construction and commissioning schedules
• Assist PM in developing construction drawings and technical specifications
• Assist PM in selection of contractors, including the bid process and the award
• Provide on-site construction management, inspection and management of all services
• Control and monitor costs
• Review interim payment requests, quantities, pay estimates, change orders, final payments,
and project acceptance
• Develop or direct project testing, commissioning, and acceptance requirements
• Ensure the project complies with all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and
regulations, building standards and codes, and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the PM
• Ensure that the construction, operation and maintenance staff is properly trained
• Submit "as-built" drawings and other documents to the owner in a well organised form
Job skills required for this Construction Manager position include:
10+ years experience in similar role
• Degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent
• Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate others
• Extensive experience in significant Commercial high rise and mixed developments
Strong contracting background
$6,500 base salary + accommodation allowance + medical + 2 flights with 28 days calendar vacation
