SENIOR MANAGER
at SOS (SPECIALISED OVERSEAS SERVICES) in GCC
SENIOR MANAGER - FINANCIAL CONTROL & TREASURY - Location KUWAIT. Our client, an established Kuwaiti Shareholding Company (Closed) aimed to meet the growing investment demand in the business sector within the GCC markets, is looking for a Senior Treasury Manager with the following:Education Qualifications:- University Degree in Finance, Economics or a similar discipline; MBA is preferred.- Technical Certifications in the field money market & investment will add value.Job Responsibilities:
• Assists the Head of Treasury Department in evaluating and assessing the company’s needs for Foreign Currencies to fund its local and foreign investment activities and in formulating the strategy and plans associated with funds and liquidity management.
• Invests funds and liquidity in different avenues for short terms, ensures trading risks are within guidelines in order to safeguard profitability.
• Keeps abreast of new developments and changes in the fields of trading, investment and finance, related legislation and government directives.
• Manages the cash flow (local & FX) to ensure adequate funds are available for the company’s general domestic and foreign activities.
• Monitors foreign exchange market and updates / revises daily rate whenever necessary.
• Gathers and analyses market information and provides information on dealing opportunities to Finance and other departments as required.
• Assists in determining and observing limits with client banks.Field of Experience:
• 10 - 12 total years of experience in the area of investment and finance, of which 7 years in the area of Treasury in an advanced position.
• Background in Finance Planning, structured finance, Sukuk and correspondence banking is preferred.Other Skills: Analytical, Managerial, Customer Oriented and Relationship. Building Skills. Fluency in the English Language. Preferred Nationality: Kuwaiti, Bilingual. Gender: Male. Salary KD 2,200 - 2,500.
