Full-time SAFETY OFFICER

at SOS (SPECIALISED OVERSEAS SERVICES) in UAE

Urgently required: Location: Dubai. Our client, a leading manufacturing company specialized in manufacturing heavy equipment pipes, is seeking candidates for the below position: SAFETY OFFICER - Ref. No. 2819. Salary: AED 5K.
Job Purpose: To ensure that the company’s safety procedures comply with the highest standards in health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Should be a Graduate in Health and Safety Management.
• Ability to lead, motivate, enforce policies and influence others to achieve HSE objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of safety work practices, tool usage and equipment operations.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, environmental plan and methodology.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing safety and health environmental management framework.
• Hands-on knowledge of and experience in the mitigation of risk and ensuring safety.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to coordinate safety activities.
• Familiar with HSE international codes & standards.
• Excellent report-writing and oral presentation skills (communication skills).
• Age: 25-35.
