ACCREDITATION & AFFILIATIONS MANAGER
at SOS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS in GCC
Our client, a university with a progressive and innovative outlook, envisaged to grow as a modern center of excellence for education and research in the fields of arts, sciences and business administration, is looking for the following: Location: KUWAIT. ACCREDITATION & AFFILIATIONS MANAGER. Ref. No. 2739.
Key Role:
• Develop cooperation initiatives with distinguished international educational establishments.
• Coordinate with the University in its self-study program for getting accreditation.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning - Participate in the development of the University's strategy for acquiring and maintaining accreditation and for managing affiliations relations. - Budget - Adhere to budgetary guidelines.
• Policies & Procedures Adhere to the university's and department's policies & Procedures
• Manage international agreements / exchanges, ensure compliance to affiliation agreement between GUST & UMSL, promote inter-institutional collaboration with EDU & affiliates.
• Maintain a database of information on institutional development policies, offerings, legislations / regulations affecting education.
• Develop practicum opportunities, develop international study abroad, student & faculty exchange programs.
• Manage the university's accreditation process in line with project management methodologies and prepare and present reports on progress, findings and recommendations. Establish a structure for accreditation sub-committees.
• Manage relations with PUC and other governmental entities.
• Quality Assurance
- Lead the University's accreditation process according to set milestones and review subcommittee reports to Ensure quality standards.
- Learning & Development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of education.
- Provide guidance and assistance to departments throughout the self-study process. - Reporting.
- Report to the VP on regional / global education trends.
Education:
• PhD from an accredited university, MBA from an accredited university.
Experience:
• 10 years related experience working with higher education institutions in the U.S.
Job Skills:
• Working knowledge of educational institutions, their structures and relationships.
Language: English.
