Full-time QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

at SOS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS in GCC

Our client, a university with a progressive and innovative outlook, envisaged to grow as a modern center of excellence for education and research in the fields of arts, sciences and business administration, is looking for the following: ASSESSMENT OF ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER. Ref. No. 2740. Location: KUWAIT. Responsibilities:
• Create the culture of a learning organization throughout the university and manage programs in pursuit of performance excellence process and in support of the university’s mission, vision and goals.
• Oversee the implementation of university strategies for continuous improvement, by evaluating academic programs and recommending action.
• Manage the Center's Strategic Plan (short and long-term – 5 years) in accordance with the university's vision and development plan, focusing on improvements in areas that add most value.
• Ensure alignment with BOT directives & PUC rules and policies.
• Develop policies & procedures for assessment of academic performance & quality assurance.
• Establish a comprehensive approach for the assessment of performance and quality assurance in the various academic and non-academic departments within the university.
• Evaluate the quality of service levels in academic and nonacademic departments.
• Oversee the function of tests and measurements and administration of placement tests and psychometric testing guide departments on the use of various tests to meet their needs for recruitment or employee assessment.
• Oversee the design and conducting of annual assessment surveys of faculty survey, staff survey, and department heads survey. Oversee the design & conducting of student surveys, as needed.
• Analyze survey results and develop recommendations for establishing enhanced KPI measurements aimed at improving current levels of performance.
• Coordinate with consultants to conduct specific assessment assignments.
• Network with concerned authorities on performance assessment and quality assurance. • Coordinate between the university units and government officials and scientific institutions inside and outside the country, in order to develop the function and benchmark levels of performance.
• Coordinate with university committees and sub-committees to help improve coordination and decision-making processes.
Education:
• Master's Degree in Quality Management or Industrial Psychology with concentration on Tests and Measurements.
• Specialized training in Total Quality Management (e.g. Six Sigma certification). Experience:
• 10 years related experience handling management responsibilities in both areas of Testing and Quality.
Job Skills:
• Advanced management skills in an academic environment.
Language: English and Arabic.
Salary KD 1,500 – 2,000.
