Full-time Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project Manager

Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project Manager - Muscat, Oman. Excellent Remuneration Package. In keeping with the latest technology, our client is at an advanced stage in the development of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Strategy which aims to see all electric and water users on the automated system within three to five years. With this in mind, we are seeking to recruit a full-time Project Manager to lead the planning, preparation and deployment of a fully functioning AMI system comprising circa 700,000 meter points throughout the country. The cost of the project is estimated to be in the area of AED 600 million. To be considered for this role, applicants must have a professional Project Management designation and a proven record of successfully delivering large and complex projects in AMI or IT-related environments. They will have strong decision-making, financial and analytical skills, with a focus on the delivery of impressive results and innovative solutions. They will be good organisers who are highly motivated and capable of structuring multi-layered projects with concurrent work streams, multiple partners and complex contracts. Through the use of their highly developed interpersonal and diplomatic skills, they will be able to influence change through their ability to clearly visualize and articulate the project at various stages.
