Our client, a major international engineering company in the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, power & water industries, is looking to expand their operations in Kuwait and GCC countries. They are presently seeking the following candidates to join their Engineering Team in Kuwait. SENIOR PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER - Location: Kuwait / Ref. No. 2759. The candidate should be able to:
• Prepare calculations and size equipment.
• Generate definitive scopes of work and write narrative specifications.
• Develop work schedules and prepare progress reports.
• Estimate manpower and plan resource loading. The candidate should be able to perform the following engineering functions independently:
• Process simulations, heat and material balances, PFDs, and P&IDs
• Mechanical equipment list, process data for instrumentation, and PSV sizing
• Specification, PSM, and HAZOP review.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A B.S. or M.S. degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical, Control Systems) from an accredited university.
• Must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the process and industrial industry (five of which in a direct supervisory position). • Written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
• Experience with Smart Plant will be a differentiator.
