Orion ERP and Oracle Database Administrator

Orion ERP and Oracle Database Administrator (12-Month Contract) – Working knowledge of relational databases and Client Server concepts, specifically within Oracle. Must have a thorough understanding of and practical experience with Oracle DBA programming tools to perform reviews and modifications, develop, analyze and maintain the database systems. Will be required to perform analysis, design, programming, implementation and documentation on systems and procedures to solve routine business problems.
Provides technical expertise and support in conversions and enhancements to a variety of business processes, code and test business systems enhancements and reports as required.
Assures that database systems and services perform and meet or exceed expectations.
Act as primary support person for the Orion ERP application suite which includes daily production support and development activities related to Orion ERP. Perform upgrades and apply patches.
Assist with day-to-day production support.
Minimum Requirements for this position are:
- Recognised Degree
- A minimum of three to five years related experience and certified training.
- Proven skills in technical functions and business analysis are required.
- Oracle 10i DBA and SQL Server development and support experience is a must.
- Orion ERP and associated Reporting a plus.
- MS SQL
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts.
- .Net experience a plus.
