Full-time Application Administrator

at CHARTERHOUSE in Abu Dhabi

This is a fantastic opportunity working on a large start up project for our Government sector client. As the Application Administrator, you will be interfacing with the end user community, completing systems upgrades, scheduling and running reports, managing system backups and general user administration. You will have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent and be an aggressive learner. You will have five or more years working on Linux, Apache, MYSQL, Tomcat and IIS accompanied by a deep understanding of LAMP and strong UNIX scripting including shell, Perl and python. Experience administrating Joomla, Moodle and open source platforms are preferred. You will have thorough knowledge of LINUX diagnosing performance problems related to network issues, memory / CPU utilization and disk OI.
