LIBRARIAN - Location Kuwait. Our client, a national research and educational centre in the health sector, is looking for a trained Librarian with a minimum of three years experience, preferably in a medical institution, who will fulfill the following functions:
• Creating, updating and managing information resources, both electronic and printed.
• Selecting, acquiring and cataloguing information using library and information software.
• Assisting researchers and nurse educationalists with literature searches using databases and the Internet.
The successful candidate will have effective verbal communication skills in English and be familiar with a computerized library, including using spreadsheet, word processing, email and graphics. He or she will ensure an accurate inventory of the library's resources and efficient retrieval by users. Should be able to contribute to a harmonious working environment. Salary Negotiable
