Senior Maintenance Engineer - AED 12,000 – AED 14,000 + Vehicle. Dubai. Our client, a reputable, successful company involved in many industry sectors and well-known for their large construction operations in Dubai, is searching for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for their building operations. The position will manage and control the agreed standards of planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance of building operation equipment. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will identify problem areas, equipment and services in order to improve agreed standards. He/she will create and implement a cost-effective maintenance plan for all buildings and related MEP services. This will include reviewing, negotiating and monitoring service contracts to ensure all obligations are adhered to. The successful applicant will have solid experience in a similar building services role. He/she will be familiar with identifying acceptable standards and making sure all service work is performed and maintained at that level. He/she will have strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with maintenance staff, tenants, clients and contractors. He/she will have knowledge of safe working practices and be able to communicate those practices to all stakeholders. The ability to write and present comprehensive reports is critical to this role. A valid UAE driver’s license is also required.
