Full-time HEAD OF OPERATIONS ACCOUNTS

at MAARS INTL FZC in GCC

Our client is a leading Petrochemical company in Qatar, having immediate vacancies for the following position to be based in Qatar. HEAD OF OPERATIONS ACCOUNTS – Qatar. The position will be responsible to conduct periodic review and accounting of costs to ensure application of appropriate costing methods and techniques to arrive at cost of various products produced by the Company; Formalizes Cost Accounting Policy and ensures adherence to Cost Accounting policy and jointly works with Head of Corporate Accounts; Works closely with the Financial Analysis and Reportingsection in areas of cost reports; Represents Finance Department in discussions on costing and pricing in finalization of agreements with QP affiliates. Ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts / Commerce / Finance or equivalent. Professionally Qualified Accountant preferably in Cost and Management Accounting, such as CIMA or equivalentcertification. Minimum of 8 years experience in cost accounting and supervisory role, preferably with an industrial background - Petrochemical industry. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Good knowledge of PC and worksheet skills & knowledge of Oracle Financials
