TECHNICAL ENGINEER - DESIGN. Ref: TEC/2583. Our client, a global market leader and a well established kitchen Fit–out / Design Company is seeking to recruit a Technical Engineer - Design. The ideal candidate must be a Graduate in the technical stream (Engineering) with 5 - 6 years of UAE experience in wood related industries, joinery, etc. as a Senior Designer. Job responsibilities: develop quality, productivity and cost effective engineering processes to ensure overall effectives in the project design and execution; liaise with sales engineers and client representatives to establish the design brief, include the concept, performance and production details; sketching initial design ideas; conduct site investigation to identify and assess details of scope; identify the suitability and availability of materials; production details, final hand drawings and specifications; use dedicated computer software (CAD) to produce design specifications, including parts lists. Experience in joinery and cabinetry detailing, cut list, concept and shop drawings with proficiency in AUTO CAD and Microsoft Office applications is a must. Salary: Commensurate with Experience. Location - Dubai.
