The Primary Responsibilities are: – – Review the main Contractor Construction Program in detail. – Preparation and releasing Overall Milestone MEP Program with the compliance of civil construction program. – Managing and controlling Target Plans. – Preparation & submitting Weekly Progress to client. – Issuing one Week and 14 days look ahead MEP program to client – Taking weekly progress from Site and preparing resources reports and updating Overall program. – Preparation of overall site labor HISTOGRAME and analysis of any variances. – Preparation of Management reports as requires from time to time – Progress & Labor S- curves. – Extension of time program. – Proposes/tentative tender’s MEP program. – Prepares, Supervises and controls the office engineering functions o planning, production control, cost control & materials. – Monitors, identifies and analyses all projects costs with a view o facilitating the completion of the project at minimum cost and within budget limits. – Monitors and analyses all the progress of the construction activities, identifies any variances between the planned and actual progress and advises project management of their impact on the overall program. Also suggests remedial action as necessary. – Provides overall supervision to his subordinate engineers carrying out the functions of planning, production control and cost control, and is directly responsible for their efficient performance. – Monitors all change orders to the contract to ensure that all additions and deletions are incorporated in revisions of the construction method statement and overall program of the works. – Supervises the preparation of the monthly cost report which shows all direct and indirect project costs against the budget.

Skills

The candidate should have at least 2-4 years prior experience in MEP experience in High rise Buildings, Industrial, Hotel, Commercial and Residential projects works and District cooling projects. Experience in PRIMAVERA is a must.

Education
Bachelor of Engineering. Mechanical Electrical.

Our Client, a leading MEP Contractor in the Gulf region is seeking Construction Managers MEP
Reports To: Project Manager
Interfaces with:Senior Management, Project Engineering Staff, Subcontractors, MEP Supervisors & Foremen
Function/Role: responsible for daily operation of all disciplines including sub contractor activities on site with purpose of achieving maximum possible productivity rate whilst executing the work within budget allowance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Management and co-ordination of all project specifications, Drawings, and associated technical data, gaining the necessary approvals and ensuring the distribution and availability of the data where its need in support of project Quality is required.
-Responsible for effective organization, deployment and control of the site labour/supervision.
-Responsibleto ensure that the standard of the installed works is in accordance with the technical and quality specification of the contract and quality of workmanship is maintained to the highest standards.
-Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
-Ensure compliance with Company QMS
-Ensure that contract drawings are constantly marked up, to enable timely issue to the Drawing Office for issuance of the “As Built” record drawings.
-Monitor the cost and timescales, liaising with the main contractor and gaining approvals where necessary to re-allocate or provide additional resource.
-Prepare and maintain accurate registers for material and drawing schedules.
-Provide as requested by the project Quantity Surveyor with timely and accurate reports in terms of work carried out and all associated costs and finances.
-Responsible for direct liaison with the client or client representative at handover ensuring the availability and suitability of as fitted drawings and associated operation and maintenance manuals.
-Report a process any identified deficiencies or concerns during any phase of the project in accordance with company Quality Assurance procedures.
Education & Training: Diploma/Bachelor Degree in (Mechanical/Electrical) Engineering.
Masters Degree is a plus
